Background
After graduating from The University of Auckland, Jessica has gained extensive experience as a project architect in New Zealand, UK and Europe.
At Hugh Broughton Architects she worked with a government agency to develop an accommodation building on the remote island of St Kilda, Scotland. The sensitive nature of the site along with it's location resulted in a unique design where specific logistical restraints were pivotal to the delivery of the project.
While at Buckley Gray Yeoman her retail projects with Lululemon Athletica led to work experience throughout Europe and the UK. Other commercial projects, including The Yards, undertaken within London enhanced her skills at renovating with sensitivity to the existing.
Before her time overseas, Jessica spent several years at renowned Auckland based practice SGA- Strachan Group Architects, where her main project was the award winning Boat Sheds in Takapuna. Known for their proficiency in construction and sustainable approach to design, Jessica gained invaluable industry experience in New Zealand from her time at SGA.
